Eyeh... well, I know the mother. Part of me wanted to tag her as being in the entry, but Xanga only allows that through their friend system, which I've never really bothered dipping into.

It is funny, though, how often you get that glimpse into peoples' lives. I remember reading an essay a few years ago about how there was this growing obsession with actual amateur porn on the Internet (as opposed to the the "from a major studio, but they're amateurs, honest" type) and the author was commenting on how half the time, he spent more time seeing those little touches of "we forgot to anonymize where we're filming it" and speculating about the play-pen in the corner, or the moth-eaten deer trophy above the mantlepiece with family photos. It was fascinating from the "I can't believe I'm reading this... but that actually is kind of interesting" perspective. It's got me looking at the background of photos more often. Regular photos, not porn, of course.
